Big Business, “Organized Crime”, and Real Prosperity

I had a fellow state to me that Republicans are for big business and don’t care about the black community. He went on to spew forth how they (the government) should tax the rich and provide tax breaks to the people at the bottom. He seemed to blame the deficient economy and the state of the black community on capitalism and the Republicans. Thus, he voted Democrat.

When street thugs rob at gunpoint to pilfer possessions from another person it is another example of misguided hoodlums who feel that they cannot ---and will not--- compete for a share in our economy. They believe that they must deprive others of their material goods in order to gain an economic advantage. Armed robbers must continue to commit crimes because their income will only resume through swindle. Lacking the intellectual capital and patience to participate in the free market, they cheat and steal from those who possess wealth.

Time after time the media reports this kind of action and it is justified by shifting the blame to a legacy of slavery, racism, fiscal predicament, or capitalism.

Political speeches about taxing the rich and redistributing their wealth are no different than a robbery that hasn’t yet turned bad. When liberal socialists go after companies who make an honest living and attempt to redistribute their wealth (communism) they are stealing. If big business fails, there are no employees to provide with a tax break because they will lack employment.

As a Republican I understand that businesses manufacture a product that consumers purchase. Therefore, a fair exchange takes place. When those consumers turn around and accuse business owners of making too much money, this is nothing short of envy and wanting to “buy” the cake, eat it, and then want your money back. Also, such folks elect government officials who will penalize companies for being successful by taxing them severely; this is nothing short of criminal ---- professional stick-ups that results in loss of capital that translates into unemployment and higher prices.

Entrepreneurs did not become wealthy by swindling citizens out of money. Companies satisfied the consumer by providing a product or service. When General Motors mass produced the automobile, the Ford Model T, they provided a manufactured good that pleased the world. We bought it. The Fords got rich. In the process, GM created a middle class who put in the work. In 1913 Henry Ford paid his employees at a rate of $5.00 per day! The highest wage in manufacturing at that time! Profits were good until competition, coupled with collective bargaining agreements, entered the picture. Vehicles were priced too high and were less efficient than the competition.

Pathetically, now the government (under Democratic control) wants to borrow money from me (the taxpayer) to “invest” into companies “too big to fail”. Rather than provide me with a dividend (at least a discount), they want to sell me the product I help build. That’s like borrowing my car to burglarize my home only to turn and sell me my stuff back.

It doesn’t matter if Obama is president. The community (especially the black community) will still suffer because the problems are self inflicted. Those black folks who voted for Obama just because he’s black are racists and no different from the Southern Democrats who initiated the poll tax to keep white candidates in office and poor blacks from voting despite the possible economic advantage.

He will not “change” the 50 percent school drop-out rate among African-Americans, or the 70 percent illegitimacy rate regarding two parent households in black communities; and he will not transform the high murder rate (over 50 percent) committed by black males in this country.

If blacks do not save, there will be check cashing centers in predominantly black neighborhoods with a five dollar fee rather than commercial banks. There will be corner stores and clothing outlets rather than grocery stores and malls. If the police are too busy, Wal-Mart will never open a store within the city limits.

The same candidates who say that they will create jobs are promoting the very policies that cause businesses to lay off employees and slow production. The same candidates who are soft on crime are the same ones who “prevent” businesses from opening in certain communities.

Governments do not create jobs. Citizens generate employment by starting businesses constructing products that benefit society. They hire the labor to bring this innovation to pass. The government’s job is to supervise fair enterprise----not socialize. The proper role of supervision is to create an atmosphere for growth. This involves cutting taxes to free up reinvestment capital for business owners; improving public safely, and prohibiting business regulatory fees implemented to raise money.

Time will tell how many government robberies will bring about the fatal wound to our financial prudence. In other words: time will tell which straw will finally break the camel’s back.

From Sarah Palin - Concerning the "Death Panels"

Yesterday President Obama responded to my statement that Democratic health care proposals would lead to rationed care; that the sick, the elderly, and the disabled would suffer the most under such rationing; and that under such a system these “unproductive” members of society could face the prospect of government bureaucrats determining whether they deserve health care.

The President made light of these concerns. He said:

“Let me just be specific about some things that I’ve been hearing lately that we just need to dispose of here. The rumor that’s been circulating a lot lately is this idea that somehow the House of Representatives voted for death panels that will basically pull the plug on grandma because we’ve decided that we don’t, it’s too expensive to let her live anymore....It turns out that I guess this arose out of a provision in one of the House bills that allowed Medicare to reimburse people for consultations about end-of-life care, setting up living wills, the availability of hospice, etc. So the intention of the members of Congress was to give people more information so that they could handle issues of end-of-life care when they’re ready on their own terms. It wasn’t forcing anybody to do anything.” [1]

The provision that President Obama refers to is Section 1233 of HR 3200, entitled “Advance Care Planning Consultation.” [2] With all due respect, it’s misleading for the President to describe this section as an entirely voluntary provision that simply increases the information offered to Medicare recipients. The issue is the context in which that information is provided and the coercive effect these consultations will have in that context.

Section 1233 authorizes advanced care planning consultations for senior citizens on Medicare every five years, and more often “if there is a significant change in the health condition of the individual ... or upon admission to a skilled nursing facility, a long-term care facility... or a hospice program." [3] During those consultations, practitioners must explain “the continuum of end-of-life services and supports available, including palliative care and hospice,” and the government benefits available to pay for such services. [4]

Now put this in context. These consultations are authorized whenever a Medicare recipient’s health changes significantly or when they enter a nursing home, and they are part of a bill whose stated purpose is “to reduce the growth in health care spending.” [5] Is it any wonder that senior citizens might view such consultations as attempts to convince them to help reduce health care costs by accepting minimal end-of-life care? As Charles Lane notes in the Washington Post, Section 1233 “addresses compassionate goals in disconcerting proximity to fiscal ones.... If it’s all about obviating suffering, emotional or physical, what’s it doing in a measure to “bend the curve” on health-care costs?” [6]

As Lane also points out:

Though not mandatory, as some on the right have claimed, the consultations envisioned in Section 1233 aren’t quite “purely voluntary,” as Rep. Sander M. Levin (D-Mich.) asserts. To me, “purely voluntary” means “not unless the patient requests one.” Section 1233, however, lets doctors initiate the chat and gives them an incentive -- money -- to do so. Indeed, that’s an incentive to insist.

Patients may refuse without penalty, but many will bow to white-coated authority. Once they’re in the meeting, the bill does permit “formulation” of a plug-pulling order right then and there. So when Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) denies that Section 1233 would “place senior citizens in situations where they feel pressured to sign end-of-life directives that they would not otherwise sign,” I don’t think he’s being realistic. [7]

Even columnist Eugene Robinson, a self-described “true believer” who “will almost certainly support” “whatever reform package finally emerges”, agrees that “If the government says it has to control health-care costs and then offers to pay doctors to give advice about hospice care, citizens are not delusional to conclude that the goal is to reduce end-of-life spending.” [8]

So are these usually friendly pundits wrong? Is this all just a “rumor” to be “disposed of”, as President Obama says? Not according to Democratic New York State Senator Ruben Diaz, Chairman of the New York State Senate Aging Committee, who writes:

Section 1233 of House Resolution 3200 puts our senior citizens on a slippery slope and may diminish respect for the inherent dignity of each of their lives.... It is egregious to consider that any senior citizen ... should be placed in a situation where he or she would feel pressured to save the government money by dying a little sooner than he or she otherwise would, be required to be counseled about the supposed benefits of killing oneself, or be encouraged to sign any end of life directives that they would not otherwise sign. [9]

Of course, it’s not just this one provision that presents a problem. My original comments concerned statements made by Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, a health policy advisor to President Obama and the brother of the President’s chief of staff. Dr. Emanuel has written that some medical services should not be guaranteed to those “who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens....An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia.” [10] Dr. Emanuel has also advocated basing medical decisions on a system which “produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated.” [11]

President Obama can try to gloss over the effects of government authorized end-of-life consultations, but the views of one of his top health care advisors are clear enough. It’s all just more evidence that the Democratic legislative proposals will lead to health care rationing, and more evidence that the top-down plans of government bureaucrats will never result in real health care reform.

If they are not holding a town hall meeting, tell them you are disappointed and then request an appointment with the Member or a staffer at the office closest to you. 8) Look at the evidence: the TennCare plan in Tennessee and the government run health care plans from Hawaii and Massachusetts were deeply flawed and have failed. Universal healthcare is a bad idea that will end up devastating our nation.

9) What is exactly covered under Obamacare? Please be specific.

10) Have you ever been treated in a Veteran’s hospital? Ask a veteran if they are happy with government run health programs, they wait months for substandard, low quality service. Our veterans and citizens deserve better.

Batavia Daily news reports yesterday (Monday, July 27) that Sen. Kiersten Gillibrand will visit Geneseo on Aug. 17 at Sweet Briar, located at 5126 Geneseo-Mt. Morris Rd. (Rt. 63). This is a DemocRATick (socialist/communist) Party fundraiser with a $25 minimum donation. The story relates that Sweet Briar is renowned for its views of the Genesee Valley. What if she was met by a large contingent of people picketing with signs against her more recent stand (flip flop from her stand as Democrat Representative in her district) on 2A issues?

If we really want to argue a"fix" for health care we really need to fix the premise in which we discuss the issue.

Just a couple of quick food for thoughts here. As some how I have less time to think lately than I used to :(. But still felt the need to get a quick thought out

As people address health care it always seems to come done to how the system is broken (which yes ok I will give you that point) but why is it broken. Everyone talks about The HMO's, insurers and the medical field getting rich (like being rich is a bad thing but that is another thing all together, kinda). On the Flip side conservatives argue about how the Obama care is population control (agreed) or will drive up costs and kill jobs and invade on privacy etc.. which are all valid but still not the heart of the problem. All these things are symptoms of what is broken. Though Health care has its problems in the USA and sure is inferior to what it used to be and what it could be it is also superior to most.

If we really want to argue or "fix" health care we really need to fix the premise in which we discuss the issue.
Well, it’s coming down to the wire, and with the far left (Nancy Pelosi and alikes) making deals with the Blue Dog democrats. Like saying that they will not force insurance companies to pay for abortions (like I believe that anyway) or doctors to perform them unless it is under extreme life and death situations for the mother (yeah until they finally do away with the conscience clause as they are trying to do). Never mind that is how they got abortion to pass saying it was for EXTREME cases and when the health of the mother was at stake, then later changing that wording to include the mental health of the mother, who says they wont change that too later on. This is all a slippery slope.

Any way back to the point. We conservatives and pro-liberty need to not be goated into false arguments and start communicating the real issue here.

It is simple, everyone says that the Free-Market Health care system is broken and we need a change we need the government to come in and fix the out of control costs. They tell us how the free market is the cause of people being denied care etc.. and that we need to do something to "fix" the system and that government intervention or state run universal health care is the answer.

The problem being in all this is we don't have a free market health care system. Everything from Wall Street to Health care always seems to boil down to Capitalism vs Socialism or worse a Marxist/Orwellian society. We must get back to the basics and remind people that over the years government has imposed over 2,000 mandates to insurance companies saying what they have to cover or what they cant cover or deny etc... and there are 133,000 pages of health care regulation in the U.S. Federal Register. Please tell me why you would consider that to be free market. Each time the government steps in to fix it has driven up prices not only to individuals but to the population as a whole. Every time the government interferes with the private sector they cause more red tape, more inefficacy and less control to doctors. Take a look at medicade and medicare we go on these programs when we have to not cause we want to and now they want to tell people they want to make everyone have to be on programs like this. If the government wants a state run health care then fine so be it. Let them make their Amtrak health care and run it and see who signs up.

When the USA had a market-based medical/health care system it was brilliant the best in the world and for those with or with out money. Over the last 40-50 years the government has inched its way into this part of the privet sector (as if you control health you can certainly more easily control the people, ask any dictator). Why should we have to beg our president to decided who lives and dies, who is convient or who is worthy of what treatment. That should not only be the doctors say but mine and my families. I would like for not only congress but proponents of State run government controlled health care to tell me how that system works? They act like every thing the government touches turns to gold when in fact everything they touch goes bankrupt (as they are not out for profit, nor should they be, but out for our tax dollars)

Something has to change, Agreed, I can admit like I think the majority can that something has to give but it certainly should not giving up more civil liberties, privacy and control to the government. I say re-frame the argument to the left. Let us go on the offensive as the Free-Market works every time. Profit not only is a great motivator but the best way to increase customer service. Basic economics 101.

I am, as is every conservative I know, very compassionate and want to see anyone in need taken care of and anyone who really needs care get it. But as the democrats would have us believe it is only them who care and only them who know what is best for me, you, the poor, the sick and the rich.

I honestly believe we need to start re-framing the debate, not just this one but most of the issues. We are constantly trying to debate on their false dilemma so it is imperative we not only educate ourselves on the issues and Legislation being offered but as well correct the debate, we want to solve for the problem not the symptoms. And the problem is government, government needs to get out of the way and let the free-market highlight it's many benefits and beauty. We have been the leaders of the free world almost since our inception as a country for a reason, our founding fathers believed in you as an individual not just as a business owner but as consumers as well. It has always been about We the people verses they the government and the elitist mentality that most of the rest of the world seems to subscribe to even to this day the world is riddled with dictators and communists and other oppressive regimes who control and dictate every aspect o peoples lives.

Not only must we be consistent and diligent to not let them suck us back into a false argument but as well once we get to the point that they can see reason and see how government is trying to suck us dry from the inside out we must also be able to offer a solution. The solution must be concise as well not just make government get out of the way. But to explain how the government has interfered over the years in the free market health care system that used to work so wonderfully. Nothing is perfect so we can always find things to fix or try to perfect in a system but when ever we find flaws in a system that need fixed we as a people need to remember that solutions never come from government.

Racism or Post-Discrimination Syndrome

With the recent arrest of Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. by Cambridge police, there was an outcry of “racism” from some in the black community. These undertones were further stirred by some elites in the Democratic Party who specialize in fueling the accusations of racism for political reasons.

President Barack Obama referred to the arrest as “stupidly” for one sole reason —the skin color of the accused. Had this been a white person in Mr. Gates’ position, I doubt if the incident would have incurred so much attention.

Ethnic relations in America continue to suffer severe setbacks due to those who resurface accusations of cultural disparities. Undeniably, there exists racism, but we must admit that if we were all the same color, we would find something else to hate one another about.

Many in the black community suffer from what I call “post-discrimination syndrome.” While understanding that scores of African-Americans have and will be discriminated against, there needs to be a cognitive restructuring that would allow people to overcome the temptation to believe that others’ treatment of them are due strictly to bigotry. A magnified assumption of prejudice based on race prevents the subject from truly examining areas of life that would allow real success.

Rather than presuppose a reason for judgment, the African-American should observe other possible factors such as communication patterns, education, dress, experience, etc. that may shed light on areas previously excluded from one’s own examination. Continuous failure can be a result of one not identifying real factors that need change.

Every group of people who have immigrated to America understood that to capitalize off the existing arrangement in society would lead to some form of equity. Immigrants realized that becoming assets, they could contribute to —and in some cases— command change. The Irish opened their own businesses, became police officers, legislators and judges. Eventually, the “Irish need not apply” signs disappeared.

The early Republicans, in passing and implementing all the civil rights legislation, attempted to clear the way for black Americans to achieve victory as a free people —without the restraints of involuntary servitude and the Black Codes, a system of laws enacted by Democrats in the south that gave whites virtual police powers over freed blacks after the abolition of slavery.

Despite weighty unfairness, American blacks persisted in their economic agenda and built businesses and schools that would produce honorable mentions. Such achievements required a psychological reconstruction that included a drive to persevere amid a hostile arrangement; a plan that depended on making major contributions to the market whether in education or craft.

It would prove well worthy to examine the predicament before arriving at conclusions that unnecessarily divide America based on mere conjecture. America comprise of many ethnic peoples who covet her citizenship of free enterprise. Some folks would benefit sometimes by just keeping their mouths shut.

Chaplin AGREED 100% Extremely well said I must say i feel rather sad i did not write that LOL :D - and If I May I just also add though a second part to that. Though many are eager to simply accept that treatment of them is some how due to bigotry and or racism and or some sort of profiling when in fact it is more due to as you mentioned other factors - It is also worth mentioning that even if you are a victim of bigotry,racism, prejudiced, profiling etc... although profiling is in place for very legitimate reasons (it works), We as Christians first and foremost need to "go the extra mile" and be above retaliation/revenge. I like you Tommy and probably any other black, Jew, Christian, Irish etc.... have faced some sort of racism (more than once) or being the "token black" etc.... or stopped due to being in the "wrong neighborhood" what ever - YEP that is part of life but it is US, Individually which has to purpose how we handle the situation we can freak out and act a fool further propagating that Image or "profile" or we can turn the other cheek and act as Jesus or Dr. MLK Jr. suggested and did. We have to overcome by overcoming and then as Christians by letting "vengeance is mine says the Lord" If we as a people purposed to be insulted with integrity we would as a culture not be so far Indoctrinated into the African Colonial mind set. The Democratic party would not have been so infiltrate us as a people and mentally enslave generations of us to the point of where we are now. Having willingly given up our values and love of God and Country for the color of a mans skin who despises the very country built of the fundamentals of the Bible that has given us and other "minorities" such liberty. We now live in a country where a Black man is president and still we the people are going around NOT LETTING IT GO. Keeping the past alive verses remembering the past so it does not repeat itself. So Again I have to say that even if and when I am profiled or someone is racists towards me I have a choice how to act Like a trained dog or monkey or I can lift my chin and say I am above that - they must have me twisted with someone else and then maybe just maybe (and probably) the next time they see a black (or what ever other prejudice you can interject here) they will think twice about assuming who that person is. God says for everything there is a time and a season and that He has a purpose for all these things all we need to do is reflect who Jesus is and God is in charge of the rest. And the Beauty of the majority of Conservatives though is that even the Godless ones are united with us as the Constitution binds us and the constitution is based on God's Law. That is why the left wants to reconstruct our constitution and Barry calls it our fundamental flaw. GREAT ARTICLE CHAPLIN!!!!

Since when does anyone in Politics think this is ok?


"Partisan politics should never be more prominent than the Pledge of Allegiance. This may come across as a partisan story, but I can't deny the facts on this one. Republicans stood for the pledge, while every Democrat remained seated. Come on, guys...you're supposed to be senators!"


Normally I might get mad a bit or frustrated here and there but this actually just disgusts me and ticks me off. But hey what can you expect from a but of power hungry, agenda driven collectivists. This is just another example of why, I left the democratic party. These people are babies and so emotionally controlled that common sense, righteousness, truth and liberty are all just words meant for manipulation.

GROW UP!!!!!

Stop Embracing Poison - The Church and the Liquor store

Another one not written by me but by one of my strong brothers Akindele Akinyemi and I had to pass it along

There are two poisons in our community that continues to plague us as Black people. The Church and the Liquor store.

If you drive down any main street in Detroit you will find churches and liquor stores. When people leave church on Sunday they go next door to the liquor store to buy a pack of cigarettes and rum.
Or whiskey.
Or beer.
Some buy weed right out of the liquor stores and gas stations.
You would think the church would give our people some spiritual insight on how to live. With the advent of welfare and other nonsense we have fallen into a trap of decadence.
Decades of it.

This is why the church in our communities need a urban revolution based on family, health and prosperity. Our Black men are dying younger and our Black women are becoming widows and single at an earlier stage in their lives. We are becoming less interested in marriage due to the distrust in our households. We trust the bottle more so than each other.

Building Urban Regional Power through urban conservatism is the key to our crisis in our community. Not social programs that create a handout or dependency mentality. Not the NAACP or other outdated civil rights organizations. Not the Black Nationalist community. All mentioned have had their turn to bat and all have struck out.

The Black Church in our community must seriously work to develop ways of ministering to young Black families who are trying to live God's law, or else it must stop preaching an all accepting, all liberating gospel and calling itself a church. The good news of the gospel is that God's love is for all people unconditionally.

For the last 400 years our people developed a wealth of mechanisms and structures for survival in spite of this society's commitment to our destruction. The church was one such structure. It was through the Christian church that the "business" of the Black community was conducted and implemented. The Black church provided a forum for dealing with the politics of our oppression (as well as the economic deficiencies brought on by racism) and a place for healing the despair and loneliness of a people denied respect for their human dignity. The church was the center from which real life sprang, presenting the good news that all people have been liberated by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our love for, and loyalty to, the All Living God guaranteed this freedom.

Today, some of our Black churches have fallen off and embrace foolishness like homosexuality and killing Black children through abortion. We accept the fact that our children are failing in public schools and instead of taking the time to open up our own institution we give them a "social" program to try to save them.

Urban conservative have banned together to try to find a way to cure the problem. We fully understand that it's easy to accept certain policies and hard to accept conservative principles. The same principles that we have been following forever since day one. Conservative principles are not a White or Black thing. It is a human thing that God has placed here for us to follow and obey. When we deviate from God's law our society goes to hell in a hand basket.

Young urban conservatives also must begin to step up in leadership roles in the church structure to guide young people back to Christ. We have our instructions and now is the time to take back our community by rejecting bad health and embracing a more conservative way of living.

Young Urban Conservatives must begin to elevate the plight of the Black man by doing the following:

Getting Black parents, Black families and the Black community properly involved in the education of Black male children.

Creating and maintaining nurturing, effective, supportive, child-centered, two-parent families.

Reconnecting Black fathers to their children.

Instilling strong educational and conservative values in young Black men.

Developing positive community structures, principles, morals and activities to help with the social development of young Black men.

Finding strong, positive role models for young Black men.

We are responsible for this transformation not the government. We are responsible for teaching our youth in the church and at home about sexuality, personal responsibility and education. The government is not responsible for this.

When we embrace Jesus Christ and not the State of Michigan as our Savior we will begin to build urban regional networks on conservative principles across the region.

Obama, the African Colonial

Had Americans been able to stop obsessing over the color of Barack Obama's skin and instead paid more attention to his cultural identity, maybe he would not be in the White House today. The key to understanding him lies with his identification with his father, and his adoption of a cultural and political mindset rooted in postcolonial Africa.

Like many educated intellectuals in postcolonial Africa, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was enraged at the transformation of his native land by its colonial conqueror. But instead of embracing the traditional values of his own tribal cultural past, he embraced an imported Western ideology, Marxism. I call such frustrated and angry modern Africans who embrace various foreign "isms", instead of looking homeward for repair of societies that are broken, African Colonials. They are Africans who serve foreign ideas.

The tropes of America's racial history as a way of understanding all things black are useless in understanding the man who got his dreams from his father, a Kenyan exemplar of the African Colonial.

Before I continue, I need to say this: I am a first generation born West African-American woman whose parents emigrated to the U.S. in the 1970's from the country now called Nigeria. I travel to Nigeria frequently. I see myself as both a proud American and as a proud Igbo (the tribe that we come from -- also sometimes spelled Ibo). Politically, I have always been conservative (though it took this past election for me to commit to this once and for all!); my conservative values come from my Igbo heritage and my place of birth. Of course, none of this qualifies me to say what I am about to -- but at the same time it does.

My friends, despite what CNN and the rest are telling you, Barack Obama is nothing more than an old school African Colonial who is on his way to turning this country into one of the developing nations that you learn about on the National Geographic Channel. Many conservative (East, West, South, North) African-Americans like myself -- those of us who know our history -- have seen this movie before. Here are two main reasons why many Americans allowed Obama to slip through the cracks despite all of his glaring inconsistencies:

First, Obama has been living on American soil for most of his adult life. Therefore, he has been able to masquerade as one who understands and believes in American democratic ideals. But he does not. Barack Obama is intrinsically undemocratic and as his presidency plays out, this will become more obvious. Second, and most importantly, too many Americans know very little about Africa. The one-size-fits-all understanding that many Americans (both black and white) continue to have of Africa might end up bringing dire consequences for this country.

Contrary to the way it continues to be portrayed in mainstream Western culture, Africa is not a continent that can be solely defined by AIDS, ethnic rivalries, poverty and safaris. Africa, like any other continent, has an immense history defined by much diversity and complexity. Africa's long-standing relationship with Europe speaks especially to some of these complexities -- particularly the relationship that has existed between the two continents over the past two centuries. Europe's complete colonization of Africa during the nineteenth century, also known as the Scramble for Africa, produced many unfortunate consequences, the African colonial being one of them.

The African colonial (AC) is a person who by means of their birth or lineage has a direct connection with Africa. However, unlike Africans like me, their worldviews have been largely shaped not by the indigenous beliefs of a specific African tribe but by the ideals of the European imperialism that overwhelmed and dominated Africa during the colonial period. AC's have no real regard for their specific African traditions or histories. AC's use aspects of their African culture as one would use pieces of costume jewelry: things of little or no value that can be thoughtlessly discarded when they become a negative distraction, or used on a whim to decorate oneself in order to seem exotic. (Hint: Obama's Muslim heritage).

On the other hand, AC's strive to be the best at the culture that they inherited from Europe. Throughout the West, they are tops in their professions as lawyers, doctors, engineers, Ivy League professors and business moguls; this is all well and good. It's when they decide to engage us as politicians that things become messy and convoluted.

The African colonial politician (ACP) feigns repulsion towards the hegemonic paradigms of Western civilization. But at the same time, he is completely enamored of the trappings of its aristocracy or elite culture. The ACP blames and caricatures whitey to no end for all that has gone wrong in the world. He convinces the masses that various forms of African socialism are the best way for redressing the problems that European colonialism motivated in Africa. However, as opposed to really being a hard-core African Leftist who actually believes in something, the ACP uses socialist themes as a way to disguise his true ambitions: a complete power grab whereby the "will of the people" becomes completely irrelevant.

Barack Obama is all of the above. The only difference is that he is here playing (colonial) African politics as usual.

In his 1995 memoir, Dreams From My Father -- an eloquent piece of political propaganda -- Obama styles himself as a misunderstood intellectual who is deeply affected by the sufferings of black people, especially in America and Africa. In the book, Obama clearly sees himself as an African, not as a black American. And to prove this, he goes on a quest to understand his Kenyan roots. He is extremely thoughtful of his deceased father's legacy; this provides the main clue for understanding Barack Obama.

Barack Obama Sr. was an African colonial to the core; in his case, the apple did not fall far from the tree. All of the telltale signs of Obama's African colonialist attitudes are on full display in the book -- from his feigned antipathy towards Europeans to his view of African tribal associations as distracting elements that get in the way of "progress". (On p. 308 of Dreams From My Father, Obama says that African tribes should be viewed as an "ancient loyalties".)

Like imperialists of Old World Europe, the ACP sees their constituents not as free thinking individuals who best know how to go about achieving and creating their own means for success. Instead, the ACP sees his constituents as a flock of ignorant sheep that need to be led -- oftentimes to their own slaughter.

Like the European imperialist who spawned him, the ACP is a destroyer of all forms of democracy.

Here are a few examples of what the British did in order to create (in 1914) what is now called Nigeria and what Obama is doing to you:

  1. Convince the people that "clinging" to any aspect of their cultural (tribal) identity or history is bad and regresses the process of "unity". British Imperialists deeply feared people who were loyal to anything other than the state. "Tribalism" made the imperialists have to work harder to get people to just fall in line. Imperialists pitted tribes against each other in order to create chaos that they then blamed on ethnic rivalry. Today many "educated" Nigerians, having believed that their traditions were irrelevant, remain completely ignorant of their ancestry and the history of their own tribes.
  2. Confiscate the wealth and resources of the area that you govern by any means necessary in order to redistribute wealth. The British used this tactic to present themselves as empathetic and benevolent leaders who wanted everyone to have a "fair shake". Imperialists are not interested in equality for all. They are interested in controlling all.
  3. Convince the masses that your upper-crust university education naturally puts you on an intellectual plane from which to understand everything even when you understand nothing. Imperialists were able to convince the people that their elite university educations allowed them to understand what Africa needed. Many of today's Nigerians-having followed that lead-hold all sorts of degrees and certificates-but what good are they if you can't find a job?
  4. Lie to the people and tell them that progress is being made even though things are clearly becoming worse. One thing that the British forgot to mention to their Nigerian constituents was that one day, the resources that were being used to engineer "progress" (which the British had confiscated from the Africans to begin with!) would eventually run out. After WWII, Western Europe could no longer afford to hold on to their African colonies. So all of the counterfeit countries that the Europeans created were then left high-and-dry to fend for themselves. This was the main reason behind the African independence movements of the1950 and 60's. What will a post-Obama America look like?
  5. Use every available media outlet to perpetuate the belief that you and your followers are the enlightened ones-and that those who refuse to support you are just barbaric, uncivilized, ignorant curmudgeons. This speaks for itself.

America, don't be fooled. The Igbos were once made up of a confederacy of clans that ascribed to various forms of democratic government. They took their eyes off the ball and before they knew it, the British were upon them. Also, understand this: the African colonial who is given too much political power can only become one thing: a despot.

Getting your voice back and Refuting Liberal Guilt

We really need to wake up in the USA and really purpose to get our voice back. We each have an individual voice, do not negotiate out of fear, do not be silent out of fear, use it. We are listening to a world based on self, The USA was founded on What? Do you remember? Does anyone remember?

We cannot afford to sit down and be silent or listen to tyrannical dictators to tell us what is “Right”. God Gave us each a conscience to tell us what is right, who to help and how to give etc.

People sit around and just casually let all these freedoms go, not realizing what's happening because they are taken away by demanding that we use certain things or not allowing us to use certain things spewing what is best for "The Greater Good" and All of this is done within the framework of liberal guilt. Well, it is time people start taking a hard look around and seeing where "The Greater Good" is taking us as a people, a country and as individuals. The State is taking your individuality and trying to make you feel guilty for it when it is the one thing that sets you apart from everyone else and gives you the opportunity to be any and everything you want to be, and for those of us who got a rough start well....good it will make every success all the sweeter and we will value life in a way others cannot, so excuses are bull-crap. We must each start taking that liberal guilt they try to push on us and say no way.

I know that is not a popular thought but it is true, just like in school and school yard bully who will not stop till everyone comes together against him/her to stop.

We in America are free thinkers and maybe we think highly of ourselves and take pride in who we are because we have reason to. Because we have a history of perseverance and freedoms that many, in most of the world will never see. Are you ready to give that up and keep apologizing for it? WHY? and Who is behind that. What about the other systems of the world and how they have tried since our inception to defeat us and yet envy us.

In the beginning of our history we were sought out to find out how we over came and how those enslaved and oppressed have now come along to rule and live side by side with all as equals. This is something to be proud of and fight for and die for and live for and shout from the mountain tops. Even in part with the election of Barack Hussain Obama, though he was not elected because of the content of his character it is still a testament to how far we have come as a nation so I can take away a bit of a smile (kind of), though we must never forget, it was the original intent of our foundign fathers that all men be created equal. Only those (the democratic party) fond of slavery kept slavery in tact after we were estabished as a free nation.

There are other amazing histories and they should be something to be proud of too, do we as Americans go around and try to make Germany or Japan or Poland feel guilty for success and overcoming communism or Hitler etc… each of us who have a history that has brought freedom, in any form, should celebrate it and be proud of it. Each unique but still a powerful voice to be cherished and respected. That is spirit of USA.

It is like hating someone because they are beautiful or hating someone because they are smart, why should someone apologize for these things. And why not celebrate your friends who are smarter than you or prettier or what have you. Why be angry and lose good friends because they have or have over come or were just born with it? What is the sense in that?

I am not fond of anger or envy. Life is about Love and forgiveness and understanding. There is nothing wrong with that except to those who love to control and keep people in fear and subservient so sure we can back down and sur-come to the pressure of a good image to china and Iran and Egypt and what have you or we can Stand up and be who the USA has always been FREEDOM FOR ALL!!!!!!!! Maybe we need to take the time to re-educate ourselves, our children, our neighbors, opur neighbors children and then the world to what Dictatorships, Facism, Communism and the alikes have brought to the world, like genocide.

So who is supporting this guy and why? From a secular (liberal & non-God fearing) point of view ok I can say ok I can see it but as a Christian, what God and what Bible are you people reading. Our alliance should be with God and God alone not man or a man. If a person goes against the very Word that gives us life and breath should we not stand up and say hold on wait a minute? You are going down not only a wrong path but a dangerous path and one opposite of the Will of God. We are being judged as a nation, God says He will give us a "king" after the peoples own hearts, well is this our heart in America now? Is this what we stand for. A dumbed down education system where our population knows more about TV stars than our founding fathers and documents. Where people can quote a sitcom more than the Holy scriptures, where we cultivate a culture of death over life? Is this who we are now as a whole? Is this who you are? We are called to repent not only for ourselves but for our nation as a whole. Jeremiah warned of this in His time. What are we doing, how do we want our country to emerge from this? Are we still a Christian and Capitalistic nation bringing light to the world. Striving for the American dream and exceptionalism or are we digressing into whiners with an entitlement mentality so that Marxism, Fascism, Communism and the a likes can rule the day and us as people. The Bible warns of times like this and it is only us who can push back the end and reach out to the nations sending Gods Word to all People that ALL would be saved. We are at a point where failure is not an option.
